YES believes every child deserves the chance to discover the power of books and the joy of music

Yamhill County Imagination Library puts books into the hands and hearts of children across Yamhill County. We partner with Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library to provide a hand-selected, age-appropriate, high-quality book each month to registered children from birth to age five.

Junior Orchestra of Yamhill County (Joy) provides high-quality string music education to more than 1,200 Yamhill County students in grades K–12. Beginning with in-school string instruction for kindergarten and first-grade students, JOY offers continued musical growth through After School Orchestra programs for grades 2–5. In 2025, YES expanded these opportunities by launching the JOY Youth Orchestra for students in grades 4–12.Joy is more than music instruction—it is a pathway for young people to develop their talents, build confidence, connect with their community, and foster a lifelong love of music.
